Submitting my first story

Today I am submitting my first Story "Mickey Mockingbird" to three editors. My teacher is pushing me into it. It is a new experience and a learning experience. I don't hold much hope for it being accepted, but I have carried out the assignment.

I have decided that my coughing is due to Ms Kitty. I want to train her to sleep in a cat bed. I bought a lovely red cat bed. I placed it on the bed. Ms Kitty lays on anything that is on the bed. She gets in my open suit case, lays on my computer case. She was not interested in the cat bed. When going to bed I placed it next to my pillow, where she likes to sleep. She slept at the foot of the bed. The second night about 3:00 AM I found her next to my pillow and the cat bed was on the floor.
I have lost this battle,but will continuing to fight the war.
